I know that my subject title isn't as attention grabbing as: "OMG you've got GOMPHOSIS DIPHYODONT~!", lol but it's weird none the less.

But anyway...I thought I'd start a journal just cos I can.

Never really written a journal entry before.

Just in case you're curious (and I don't suppose you are), I'm a first year uni student.

The most hated part of my couse isn't the teachers, nor the other students...it's a little square of polymer called a "rubber dam". We've been instructed that it's good to put them into people's mouths so each pre-clinic session starts with the tedious task of putting a rubber dam inside our model heads. Rubber dams rip SO FREAKIN' easily and it infuriates you whenever it happens. You can't just leave it in the mouth though...no no no...you have to take it out and put in a new one...even if the tear is TINY since it liquid will leak in through. A plus side to my course is the time I am able to utilise to draw yay. I'm just getting back into drawing after a 3 year stint of hardcore schooling to try and get into uni I guess it's a good thing that my couse makes me draw. However what I'm made to draw are skulls and bones and teeth...draw every little friggin detail... grooves, fossa, deformities...it's to help us learn...but it's a real pain to draw...and that's after you identify what tooh you're looking at:

"I do believe I'm looking at a first mandibular premolar...or is it a maxillary canine? o.O "

My course is a real pain...but I wouldn't change out of it...there's nice girls

I hope my first journal entry wasn't TOO boring...for those who bothered to actually read it o.O
